OPENING: May 19th, 2017
(7:00 PM-11:00 PM)

“Now is the time to counter lies with facts, repeatedly and unflaggingly, while also proclaiming the greater truths: of our equal humanity, of decency, of compassion. Every precious ideal must be reiterated, every obvious argument made, because an ugly idea left unchallenged begins to turn the color of normal. It does not have to be like this.” -Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
“This Is It” is an art and music event spotlighting open dialogue and creative expression in 2017. The show is a celebration of outstanding contemporary work being created by artists
from diverse backgrounds and practices, with the purpose of engaging our shared humanity through open dialogue during this important time in history.
“This Is It” blurs the line between art and life by combining a group art exhibit with a night of artistic celebration and musical performances. A melting pot of artwork, under one roof, celebrating diversity and our collective desire to establish principles of compassion, respect, and resolve.
